THE RESEARCH

Daily Walking Matters.
We Make It Possible.

Walking practice strengthens muscles, improves circulation, supports joint health, and boosts mood. For people recovering from stroke, living with SCI, MS, or Parkinson’s disease, it is one of the most studied ways to work on strength, mobility and independence.

Study after study confirms it. The challenge has never been the practice. It is having a safe way to do it at home.

WalkPort solves that.

52%

Of stroke patients with moderate to severe walking impairment significantly improved their walking ability within one year. New England Journal of Medicine, 2011

50%

Higher chance of chronic disease for adults with disabilities who get no physical activity, compared with those who stay active. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

25%

Lower risk of depression among physically active adults. Benefits showed up even at half the recommended activity level. JAMA Psychiatry (American Medical Association), 2022
