MINNETONKA, Minn., October 12, 2026 Medthera, Inc., the company behind the WalkPort Supported Walk Station, announced today that it is now WalkThera, Inc. The new name is short for Walk Therapy. It says in two words what the company exists to do: give people a safe way to practice walking every day, at home or as part of a therapy program.
The name change takes effect October 12, 2026 and comes with a move to a new office in Minnetonka, Minnesota. WalkPort and the support customers rely on stay exactly as they are.

What Is Changing
A few details are different starting October 12, 2026:
- Company name: Medthera is now WalkThera.
- Office: 15105 Minnetonka Industrial Rd., Ste. 209, Minnetonka, MN 55345.
- Email: team addresses now end in @walkthera.com. Messages sent to the old @medthera.com addresses will continue to be delivered during the transition.
